Week Four PSR Show Preview
Well, my fellow football friends, it’s week four for Pigskin Radio. Just as there are no “sure things” in sports, you never know what you’ll get from the PSR Show. Nonetheless, here are a few vaporous ideas from my misty grey matter:
It’s T.O. week, and that means either A.) a big dose of pregame smack-talk and instigation from the new Cowboy drama queen, or B.) the biggest news since the fake O.D: Owens keeps his mouth shut and brings his message to the field on Sunday. I’m happy either way. Bring on the damned Eagles!
Also, is talking smack a curse or a blessing? Some team owners think it’s a jinx, while for others, it flows like money at the strip club. Is it better to boast, or to shut up and pray to the Football Gods?
The bye-week conundrum: did you spread it out or take it all in one week. Is the one week suicide better than week after week of lineup-shuffling? I took mine in twos this season, and I’m okay with that. For now. (…and I’ll get that damned 2nd kicker the week I need him.)
Looking ahead: so-called “backup” running backs that could make a difference in the last half of the season. On the list: Jerious Norwood, DeAngelo Williams, Joseph Addai, Maurice Jones-Drew, Laurence Maroney, and oh yeah…that guy in New Orleans, Reggie Bush.
