As a Cowboys fan, I wasn’t happy with the outcome today. However my disgust for Brett Favre has increased 10-fold after I heard his post-game chant of the stupid “Pants on the Ground” song from American Idol. Does anyone else get the feeling that that was just as staged as the actual “Pants on the Ground” guy. These “crazy characters” come out of nowhere. Really reminds me of professional wrestling.
In a rare moment of fashion awareness, I noticed the colorful neck adornments of our NBC Sunday Night Football hosts, Chris “Skeksis” Collinsworth and his unfortunate counterpart Al Michaels. The Taloned One was sporting a Titans-themed blue tie, while the elder Al donned one in Steelers’ black and gold.
The result: not so good for our broadcast booth whipping boy. The Steelers won in OT, 13-10.
So do these guys always wear ties in the competing teams’ colors? Is there some correlation to the game’s outcome? Only time will tell, but for now, it’s Al Michaels bringing the good luck to Thursday Night’s NFL season-opening winner, the defending champs, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Could the Lions go 0-32? This year is their chance. The Onion pokes fun at the worst team in the NFL. Notice the Drew Henson tagline, some really good chuckles in this video.
Fantasy Football and Llama stories in the same god damn episode! Holy shit! (BTW my fantasy team in the Austin league is the Texas Llamas) I love CNN’s News of the Absurd, its what great shows should be, smartassy. This episode is dedicated to all fantasy football fanatics out there. We find out about male girdles, TO’s tasty cereal and the new craze sweeping the nation, Llama caddies.
It’s a hex from the ex! Semi-famous nookie girl Jessica Simpson has apparently turned to the Dark Side in an attempt to thwart Jedi Romo’s mojo. I suppose she Googled “how to make my ex-boyfriend eat a shit sandwich” and came up with this half-cocked plan.
Here’s the the original link from popcrunch.com.
I think he might like talking about it more than smoking it. Check out the video interview where Stephon puts his foot in his mouth once again. “He’s not under contract.”
Watch footage of John and Mark with their fantasy football league as we have a draft lottery. Watch as we get drunk and try to pick names out of a hat, what a bunch of idiots. It’s a look into the underground world of Pigskin Radio and the morons that take fantasy football way too seriously.
Tony Romo is yucking it up again, now on Funny or Die. We hope Romo does well around here, he is the Cowboys QB, but it does look like he may have taken some acting lessons from his ex-girlfriend (she was quite a thespian on the Dukes of Hazzard). Now watch as Tony talks about all the products he endorses.
I think Bob Costas has been watching YouTube.

The Onion has always had great writers, their audio news has always made me chuckle, lately the videos have been tremendous.
